City Of Jackson Planetarium's 2022 Summer STEAM Camp
The 2022 summer camp commences July 2022 welcoming 6th –8th grade explorers to receive intensive training in STEAM. The summer camp is steeped in technology thanks to the City of Jackson Planetarium and Jackson State University.

About the event
The 2022 STEAM Summer Camp provides programming strategies and skills designed to empower Mississippi underrepresented youth in STEAM. This approach provides future scientists opportunities and support through:
1) exposure to the world through advanced technology
2) student-centered, standards-based activities
3) peer mentoring supports through modeling.
